Our History
Lakewood Home Energy was founded in 2021 by Camden Dionne, a local Mainer with a long history in the area. He was a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, his father was a carpenter in Skowhegan, and his in-laws ran a lumber company in Kingfield
Camden has an extensive background in home improvement and home inspections. He cultivated his passion and expertise in building science by doing a deep energy retrofit on a foreclosed home, making it more comfortable and affordable. Following this experience, he dove headfirst into the building science of homes, and successfully launched Lakewood Home Energy.

Who We Serve
We work with homeowners, builders, and small commercial businesses. Our residential retrofit work focuses on home improvement upgrades, often as part of Efficiency Maine’s rebate program. As an approved Efficiency Maine contractor, we can help you receive as much as 80% off ($8,000) in insulation and air sealing rebates, plus low-interest financing.
For new construction, we focus on helping contractors and owner-builders make their properties code-compliant with Maine’s energy codes. We’re experts on the latest ICC standards and also provide the required testing to be compliant.
